YOU ARE: a distinguished compliance professional with 3+ years of experience working in a banking setting, fluent in US compliance regulation(s) including:

  • The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
  • Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
  • Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
  • The USA PATRIOT Act
  • Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN)

AT ARIVAL: you will be leading our compliance unit as well as responsible for drafting and managing key compliance policies and procedures (including, but not limited to: KYC, KYB, CIP, DD, EDD, AML, Vendor Management, reporting, etc).

AT ARIVAL: you will establish and manage security plans, policies, and carry out Arival’s information security strategy. You’ll likely develop policies and procedures including, but not limited to:

Country Manager, Arival

WE ARE: a team of hungry entrepreneurs with big dreams, gritty fintech experts, bankers with a modern mentality, and top-ranked venture capitalists, joined on a mission to bring cutting-edge banking services to underbanked businesses and entrepreneurs across the world.

We’re looking for a Country Manager to become the face of our local team in Lithuania as we develop operations in the EU.

EVERYDAY TASKS:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations in Lithuania
  • Coordinate and drive the EMI licensing process
  • Communicate regulalry with regulators, lawyers, and other partners
  • Recruit & mentor a local team to accomplish core objectives
  • Identify suitable partners to complement growth
  • Analyse & monitor market changes

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Based in Vilnius; native speaker of Lithuanian & fluent in English (required)
  • Dynamic experience in the startup world (preferred)
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of “FinTech”
  • Entrepenurial fire & enthusiasm; ability to speak with conviction & coherence in different settings
  • Public relations: panels, interviews, etc as the local “face” of Arival

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required. Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications is a plus.

  • 5+ years in banking, business development, or marketing (required).
  • Understanding of the process of launching an E-Money Insitution.

AML Officer, Arival

We’re looking for a senior AML officer to be a key part of our local team in Lithuania as we develop operations in the EU.

EVERYDAY TASKS:

  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and controls across business lines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Adjust, maintain and supervise the AML/CFT monitoring & reporting functions.
  • Design, maintain and continuously test the effectiveness of AML/CFT controls in accordance with the organization’s risk appetite.
  • Act as the point of contact for AML/CFT matters inside & outside the organization.
  • Liaise and keep a constant relationship with the central bank of Lithuania
  • Promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Monitor changes in legislation regarding AML issues.
  • Provide training to the team on AML/CFT matters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Based in Vilnius; native speaker of Lithuanian & fluent in English (required).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the AML/CFT regulatory framework.
  • Experience in the financial service areas.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative.
  • Analytical skills, ability to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong researching skills with attention to details.
  • Experience with regulatory audit/review.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and/or relevant AML/CFT certification (ACAMS; ICA; etc.) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an AML/CFT compliance role within a regulated financial institution.
  • Expertise in GDPR and PSD2 is preferred.

We’re looking for a Chief Information Security Officer to become a key part of our local team in Lithuania as we develop operations in the EU.

EVERYDAY TASKS:

  • Responsible for determining enterprise information security standards.
  • Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that all information systems are functional, modern, and secure.
  • Manage security plans, policies, and carry out Arival’s information security strategy.
  • Research industry concepts & best practices.
  • Maintain relationships with IT-related partners.
  • Oversee product-related integations from an IT perspective, as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience and proper judgment skills to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Experience utilizing, monitoring, and scanning tools in support of system vulnerability management and reporting.

We’re looking for a Back End Developer who is eager to join a fast-growing tech team, and become part of our new EU journey starting in Lithuania.

EVERYDAY TASKS:

  • Working on core business logic, including onboarding and verification, money movement, notifications, reporting, risk and fraud, and various analytic tools
  • Implement new functionality trends from the banking industry
  • Support existing product improvements
  • Work closely with the Arival product team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong programming ability in Ruby, Python, & Go
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging production issues
